First thing this morning, we had the pleasure of meeting Harriet and Dale, freelance make up artists and photographers who were taking care of images to go with the article that will hopefully soon be seen in the Daily Mail. I don't think Michelle and I have posed so much since we got married!
Michelle then made her way for coffee and a chat with her good friend Kate, whilst I made a return to normal duties back at the office!
David our wonderful designer at work, kindly put together a letterhead template for me for the Charity as well as designing two wonderful pull up banners, ready for use at our first event for the Charity - An Evening with John McGovern, which takes place on March 13th (only 5 tickets left).
I had my regular online chat with our new friend Mary Mann, who is doing a wonderful job of fundraising for us with her colleagues at the Mary Potter Health Centre.
To top the day off, Lynda Lally from Beeston Tesco kindly offered Forever Stars a huge booty of raffle prizes to help raise money!
Even as the evening is drawing to a close, we are receiving offers of help and support. It is amazing!
We also had our first read of the draft article for the Daily Mail, Sadie if you are reading this we think you have done an amazingly sensitive job of covering our loss - thank you.
We've still not got that valuable celebrity support to help raise our profile but we'll keep plugging away at it, in the meantime - thank you for your support.
