Last night I started to get a little down again thinking that today was going to be 2 months since we lost our little baby Emily. No matter how many times, I say or write down the fact that we have lost our little girl, it still seems unbelievable.
Over the past few weeks, I have written different things about Emily and trying to come to terms with our loss but today we wanted to do something fun and inclusive, something that lifted people and got them connecting with Forever Stars!
So at midnight we put the request on facebook for everyone to put a star on their facebook page and mention / tag or post Forever Stars and if we got 1000 stars, we'd have a £1000 donation from a supporter. As I write this we're not quite there but not far off, so feeling very happy - now that is something I didn't expect to say today!!
We want Forever Stars to belong to everyone; those who has been through what we've been through, for family members or friends of people who have been through what we've been through and for people who have just been blessed not to have to go through what we have been through.
And with so many participating today, that is exactly what has happened. Our little Emily has made such a big impact on the world, we are so proud of her.
Someone else who we're so proud of is our wonderful son Finlay, at the age of 5 he is dealing with something so strange, so brilliantly that without him, we'd have never found the strength to start Forever Stars - so a big high five to Emily's big brother xx
