We are inviting you to our next Volunteer Support Session on Sunday 6th September 12:30pm-4:30pm. These sessions happen 4 times a year and are vital for our volunteer community – building connections with each other, sharing ideas and feedback, getting updates on upcoming events and essential training!
During the following two sessions we will be joined by the team from The Idiopath who will be with us to run some sessions on CPR training. It is much more than a “normal” first aid course and looks into how to prepare to deal with such a difficult situation by looking at personal confidence and resilience, all delivered from a real-life experience.
This training is an essential part of being a volunteer with Forever Stars and every volunteer is required to attend one of the sessions.
There will also be a second date – Sunday 8th November 12:30pm-4:30pm.
Bec will also be on hand to create your Volunteer ID Card (again a requirement for all Volunteers), provide updates about events for the reminder of the year and discuss anything volunteer related.
