In honor of Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025, Forever Stars is hosting a special 26-mile marathon walk on Friday, October 13th. This year’s event, following the success of the previous four years, is expected to be the biggest yet, with over 50 walkers already confirmed. Participants will include a diverse group of supporters, many of whom are from local businesses, all helping to raise awareness and funds for families affected by baby loss.
The walk, named “One Step At A Time,” symbolises the challenging journey that families endure as they cope with the loss of a baby. The event will begin at the Harrington Arms in Sawley, taking participants on a scenic route through Nottingham. Along the way, walkers will pass by several local landmarks and key supporter locations. The walk will conclude at the Boat & Horses in Beeston Rylands.
This event is more than just a walk; it’s a powerful statement of solidarity with those who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby. It’s an opportunity for individuals, supporters and businesses to come together to raise awareness and vital funds for Forever Stars.
The “One Step At A Time” walk is open to everyone, whether you want to join for just a mile or complete the full 26 miles. By participating, you’ll be contributing to a cause that touches the hearts of many in the Nottingham and East Midlands community.
