In these sessions with the lovely Eniko, we’ll explore how our brains have evolved over millions of years and why they sometimes react to everyday situations with stress, anxiety, grief or negative thinking. By looking at a few simple ideas from neuroscience, we’ll unpack why the brain is wired this way and how these responses can show up in our daily lives, both at work and at home.
We’ll also look at the difference between negative and positive thinking. Rather than trying to “just think positively,” we’ll explore why negative thinking happens in the first place and how it can influence the way we approach challenges. From there, we’ll introduce practical ways to shift our thinking so that we can respond to situations in a more balanced and constructive way.
Finally, we’ll go through a few straightforward techniques that can help retrain the brain over time. These are simple practices that people can start using straight away to build resilience, improve focus, and support a more creative and productive mindset.
The goal of the sessions is to leave people with a better understanding of how their brain works and some practical tools they can use to manage stress and grief, think more clearly, and support their overall well-being.
