Forever Stars the baby loss support charity based in Nottingham are holding their first ever ‘Open Day’ at the Council House in Nottingham on March 23rd from 10am – 1pm.
Since Michelle and Richard Daniels launched the charity in 2014, following the stillbirth of their daughter in 2013, they have tried to keep regular contact with the supporters of the charity to show the progress with their projects and indeed show fundraisers where their hard earned fundraising cash is being spent.
The small charity with a big heart has come a long way over the last five years and now has a number of projects running at any one time, so to help keep everyone informed and involved, the Trustees have decided to open the doors, put on the kettle and invite everyone in and talk about Forever Stars, baby loss support in Nottingham and Baby Loss Awareness Week.
Richard Daniels, Co-Founder of Forever Stars said ‘it is really important that as a charity we share as much about what we do and why we do it to our supporters, fundraisers and potential future supporters, not only for the obvious transparency reasons, but also so that people who have suffered baby loss know what is available locally. This is the first time Forever Stars have done something like this so I really hope that curiosity gets the better of people that have never had anything to do with Forever Stars and makes them come along, equally I hope that people who know about Forever Stars come along and see what we’re up to these days.’
The event is being held at the Council House in Nottingham City Centre from 10am until 1pm in the Council Dining Room, there will be a number of information stands to visit, ranging from information about the Serenity Suites in the Queen’s Medical Centre and the City Hospital, through to how to become a volunteer with Forever Stars.
